Triton International, the world’s largest container leasing company, recently revamped its office in the Boston area to give it a fresher look, featuring the brand’s unique identity and core values. The renovation includes a complete layout revamp with thoughtful lighting design to promote efficiency and productivity. The interior design studio in charge partnered with Illuminate NE to specify the luminaires used in the project.
The updates layout consists of open work stations with private offices and conference room, surrounding the huddle rooms and enclosed lounges. The office also contains a separate area for team building and recreational activities. Therefore, different types of fixtures were selected to provide need and purposeful lighting.
Bright and inviting collaboration space, featuring MP Lighting luminaires
This space features a combined communal kitchen and employee lounge, which also functions as a place for socializing and a quick check-in spot. To provide ample lighting while creating an inviting environment, a variety of pendant luminaires are used, including MP Lighting’s popular cylindrical pendant L603. Known for its generous light output, multiple L603s are installed across the collaboration hub and open work stations area. The flood beam angle (45 degrees), powered by a 26W LED, is paired with the silver specular to provide ample brightness to Triton’s large office space. And the white powder coated finish truly makes these pendant fixtures become an integral part of the office, whose main colours include some neutral tones like white, gray and beige.
