Dual or double circuit rail lighting is a track lighting system with two circuits, allowing separate controls of the fixtures using two switches. Dual-circuit setup gives extra control by enabling users to switch on some of the fixtures at once. For example, if a single light fixture is desired to shine on framed art, it can be activated instead of all eight track heads in the dual-circuit system.
